🐾 Job Title: Client Services Specialist – Front Desk Superstar & Pet Parent Liaison

Location: Main St. Veterinary Hospital in Norman, OK
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Mornings, Evenings, some Saturdays
Reports To: Lead Client Services Specialist
Compensation: Competitive pay + all the puppy smiles and kitty head boops you can handle

About the Role:

Do you have a love for animals and a knack for making people feel welcome? Are you the kind of person who can calm a nervous pet parent, schedule appointments with ease, and still manage to hand out treats like a pro?

At Main St. Veterinary Hospital, our Client Services Specialists are the friendly faces and reassuring voices that keep our practice running smoothly. You’ll be the first and last impression for our clients—and the glue that holds the front office together.

🐕 What You'll Do:

  • Greet every client and furry friend with a warm, professional, and genuine smile

  • Manage multi-line phones like a seasoned DJ—answering questions, scheduling appointments, and directing calls

  • Check pets in and out with accuracy and compassion, ensuring all paperwork is in order (and tails are wagging)

  • Provide clients with information on services, estimates, and post-visit instructions

  • Process payments and handle transactions with speed and accuracy

  • Be the communication bridge between the veterinary team and our clients

  • Keep the lobby and reception area clean, welcoming, and stocked with brochures—and dog treats, of course

  • Stay calm, friendly, and organized—even on Mondays when the waiting room is full of barking, meowing, and the occasional runaway ferret

🐾 What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills—you know how to connect with people

  • Experience in a veterinary or medical front desk role is a plus, but not required

  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a love of staying organized

  • Comfortable with computers, phones, and learning new software (we’ll train you!)

  • Must love animals and be okay with a little fur on your clothes

  • Kind, patient, and a team player through and through

🎉 Perks & Benefits:

  • Opportunities for growth in the veterinary field

  • Staff discounts for your own pets

  • PTO for full-time and part-time employees

  • Supportive, pet-loving team environment

  • Flexibility, fun, and furry co-workers guaranteed

  • The chance to make a difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them
