Dr. Monismith was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She attended Oklahoma State University where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She practiced in Texas for 4 years, and in Missouri for 3 years before returning to Oklahoma to work at Main Street Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Monismith has a special interest in surgery and feline medicine. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with family, running half marathons, and cooking. She and her husband David share their home with their cats Cosmo, Noah, Nigella, and Gato Drakkar Noir.
