Dr. Andrea Monismith was born and raised in Oklahoma City and has been dedicated to animal health and wellness throughout her career. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2008. After graduation, she spent four years practicing in Texas and three years in Missouri before returning home to Oklahoma, where she joined the team at Main Street Veterinary Hospital in 2015 .
Dr. Monismith has a special interest in surgery and feline medicine, and she takes pride in providing thoughtful, individualized care to each of her patients—especially the more mysterious and independent feline kind.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Monismith enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, and baking. She and her husband David share their home with their beloved pets: cats Nikki, Loki, and Pumpkin, along with their dog Phoebe.
