Veterinarians

Dr. Kerry Shafer-Ray DVM
	Dr. Shafer-Ray received her Veterinary Medical Degree (VMD) in 1994 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. During her training she worked at the Philadelphia Zoo, the Animal Medical Center in the city of New York, and the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Shafer-Ray is married to University of Oklahoma Associate Professor of Physics Neil Shafer-Ray. They have two children, Reed and Cole. Her two dogs Dream and Buddy, cats Dexter and Larry, and a fish, Fred, help with the upbringing
Dr. Jennifer NIckel DVM
	Dr. Jennifer Nickel received her Veterinary Medical Degree (VMD) in May, 2008 from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a lab mix named Jesse.

Registered Veterinary Technicians

Shelly Huffman RVT
	Shelly Huffman came to MSVH in July of 2003. She has a Corgi, Rummler, and two cats Simon and Ozzy. Shelly graduated from OSU-OKC in December 2004, and is now a Registered Veterinary Technician. She is also our resident reference for exotic animals.
Dave Allred RVT
	Dava Allred joined the MSVH team in July 2004. She has a dog,Gypsi, three cats, Sissy, Daisy and Hugs. She completed her RVT license at OSU OKC in March of 2000.
Stephanie Robin RVT
	Stephanie joined us in October, 2005 having recently moved from Tulsa. She has worked in the veterinary hospital field for fourteen years, and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 1998. She has two dogs Moby and Danzig.

Amy Shubin
	Amy joined MSVH in September, 2005. She is a graduate of Moore Norman Technology Center and has a diploma in Occupational Therapy. Amy has 3 dogs, Buddy, Taffy, and Duke, and 3 cats, Smores, Troubles, and Sticktight.
Annie Powell
	Annie joined MSVH in October, 2006. She is currently studying to become a speech pathologist at the University of Oklahoma. Annie assists in the reception area as well as the kennels. She has two dogs, Cheynne and Shadow.
Brittani Summers
	Brittani came to MSVH in December 2007. She received certification as a Veterinary Assistant from the Moore-Norman Vo-tech in the spring of 2008. She primarily takes care of the pets in the kennel, but also assists the technicians. She has two dogs, Clover and Daisy.
Kara Carlson
	Kara began working at MSVH in June of 2008. Kara is studying Zoology at the University of Oklahoma and plans to attend the veterinary program at Oklahoma State University. She has a maltese named Isabelle.
